Under it is a scoring system built for real life, not an idealised one.
How we build
CortexaLab is deliberately small. A single founder designs, builds, and ships every product, working alongside modern AI coding tools as a full production team. It's a new way to make software: lean, fast, and AI-native from the first line of code to the last pixel.
AI doesn't just live inside our apps; it's how we make them. Product design, engineering, copy, and release work are all AI-augmented, using tools like Codex, Cursor, and Claude Code. That's how one person ships polished, store-grade apps on two platforms, and keeps shipping.

Our approach
We believe the best everyday tools quietly absorb effort. Each CortexaLab app is built around a simple test: does the AI remove a real chore, or is it just there for show? If it's the latter, it doesn't ship.
